He meets some new friends and has many adventures. This is a book you will want to read to your children over and over. It introduces some possibly unfamiliar but very interesting creatures of the Pacific Northwest. Readers will hopefully learn that slugs and snails and frogs are very cool creatures in their own right. This is a story of how friendship can overcome many difficulties. A Five Star Review A delightful book. I must admit I bought this book for me. I read the blurb on the back and I knew I had to have it. It reminded me so much of what I was like as a child.
