The Accidental Adventures of Bernie the Banana Slug A 'Read to Me' Book This is the story of Bernie the Banana Slug who, through no fault of his own, ends up in a very unfamiliar place. He meets some new friends and has many adventures. This is a book you will want to read to your children over and over. It introduces some possibly unfamiliar but very interesting creatures of the Pacific Northwest. Readers will hopefully learn that slugs and snails and frogs are very cool creatures in their own right. This is a story of how friendship can overcome many difficulties. A Five Star Review My son loves this book. I started reading it to him but now he reads it by himself. He has read it at least a hundred times. A great story that we have taken out into the woods near our house to see if we can find any Bernies having adventures. Karen Tutor

Lily Liar and the Eleventy Headed Monster A 'Read to Me' Book One day Lily told a lie. It wasn’t a big lie. It didn’t hurt anyone. She thought lies that didn’t hurt anyone were okay, especially if the lies helped you a little. And they did help her…at first. The little lies turn into medium lies. Medium lies turn into big lies. Big lies turn into MONSTER lies. But Lily’s lies turn into real monsters with buggy eyes and big slimy teeth. They appear everywhere and taunt her. Lily cannot escape until she discovers the one thing that can destroy a Lie Monster, especially an Eleventy-Headed one. A Five Star Review My daughter started to tell lies and I thought this book might help her understand that lying is not socially acceptable. I used it as a conversation piece without ever talking about her penchant for lying. At the very least I think it gave her some understanding of the problems that lying can create. Great book for teaching. Fiona Jacobs
Tiny Tina and the Terrible Trouble A 'Read to Me' Book Tina was little. Being little was a good thing. She used that to get her own way. And everyone had always treated her like she was special. But things were changing and Tina needed a plan. A plan she didn’t have, that is, until she met Little Trouble—a monster who helped her devise a way to become special again. But when things did not go as planned… Little Trouble invited Big Trouble. And when that did not work, Big Trouble invited Terrible Trouble. And that is when things went horribly wrong. A Five Star Review A delightful book. I must admit I bought this book for me. I read the blurb on the back and I knew I had to have it. It reminded me so much of what I was like as a child. It made me smile and reflect. Fun read. Probably great for children but as an adult I loved it. Daphne MacMillan
